Finance Manager

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Essential Functions

  • Works with local banks, credit unions, and national banks to find the best products to present to the customer, based on the customers’ individual needs.
  • Negotiate with the banks and credit unions to advocate for the customer to purchase new or used unit, including pricing, financing, and payment terms.
  • Secures financing for customers utilizing a variety of systems and information.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with local banks, credit unions, and other key vendors.
  • Presents, explains, and sells aftermarket products and warranty packages.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Selects appropriate lender, secures approval, obtains customer commitment, and finalizes delivery.
  • Tracks and monitors F&I PVR, product penetration and lender penetrations
  • Strong communication with staff, customers, co-workers, and senior management
  • Problem solver, work with sales manager, and customer to find different avenues to find funding.

Qualifications

  • Experience and proven success in a Finance Manager role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales management, merchandising, inventory, shrinkage control, security methods and consumer behavior
  • Must have financial experience in the RV or automotive market.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with previous exposure to customer data and inventory systems.
  • Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
  • Strong closing skills are necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is a must.
  • A positive upbeat attitude.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

SERVICE ADVISOR

Schedules and manages all customer service repair needs. Creates work orders, transfers customer concerns to work orders, properly dispatch work to technicians, manages repairs, updates customer of repair progress, and meets customer deadline dates, quality checks repairs to meet customer promises and expectations. Works with manufacture warranty companies by filing claims to get approvals for repairs to start. Process all warranty claims for payment once repairs are completed. If customer pay, takes payment before pickup.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that all work orders are accurate and addresses all customer concerns with as much detail added as possible
  • Create Warranty claims and provide to manufacture warranty companies for approvals to start work
  • Supervise customer pay and warranty technicians to meet deadline dates and quality goals
  • Ensure that all claims have been proceed properly so that there are no denials resulting in warranty dollars shortage, this includes returning of all parts requested by manufacture of that claim
  • Maintain a safe work environment that meets all requirements
  • Schedule and set customer appointments that allow repairs to be completed on time
  • Demonstrates Corporate Values in action within the department, organization, insurance companies and customers
  • Manage open work order report on a daily basis
  • Manage outstanding receivables by keeping all receivables within 30 days
  • Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Provides accurate information to warranty manufactures when seeking approvals
  • Create, publish and monitor on weekly basis Tech productivity report. Ensure Tech productivity standards are met and address noncompliance

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior service advisor experience is a plus
  • Prior warranty claims submission is a plus
  • Dispatching, customer service experience a plus
  • Proven ability to achieve profitability and growth

SERVICE TECH

Sonny's RV, a Route 66 dealership, has openings for Experienced & Entry Level Technicians. We are looking for service technicians who would like to work in a "family run" RV service center. Our family is expanding and we would like to interview you.

As an entry level technician, you will be enrolled in an online training program to obtain the skills and knowledge to perform the following responsibilities; plumbing, propane systems, electrical, flooring, generator service, awning repair & installation, A/C repair & installation, chassis and axle repairs, slide out repairs, and refrigerator and stove repairs & installation. We will train the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Must have your own tools and toolbox
  • Good manual dexterity and balance while working off the ground
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • The ability to periodically lift in excess of 25 lbs
  • Valid driver's license w/ good driving record
  • Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good communication, organizational and learning skills
  • The desire to upgrade and learn new skills as technology advances
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Pride in workmanship and the desire to attain a superior level of expertise
