Devils Tower National Monument is an amazing geological feature and is considered sacred by the Northern Plains Indians and indigenous people. This destination in Wyoming is a climber's dream. There are hundreds of parallel cracks that divide the tower into large hexagonal columns that construct one of the best traditional crack climbing routes in North America. Most campgrounds allow RVs, but some do not have full hookups so make sure to research each campground before choosing where to stay near the tower.
Located in Central Wyoming is Big Horn National Forest, a sister mountain range to the more well-known Rocky Mountains. This national forest makes for a great vacation destination as it is located between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park. This region of Wyoming has a diverse landscape including sheer mountain cliffs, grassy meadows and more. Big Horn National Forest features 30 campgrounds, multiple reservoirs and a few scenic byways.
